Twelve Years of Craft, Two Studios, One Standard.
Founded in Panchkula, Ink District Studio has spent over 12 years building a reputation as one of the most trusted names for a tattoo studio in Chandigarh and the wider Tricity. What started as a single chair in Sector 26, Panchkula has grown into two full studios — the original Panchkula location and our newer branch in Sector 32-C, Chandigarh — serving clients from Mohali, Zirakpur, Kharar and Dera Bassi.
Every artist on our floor is trained in blood-borne pathogen safety and works with hospital-grade autoclave sterilisation, single-use disposable needles and imported, dermatologically tested ink. We don't reuse grips, we don't rush stencils, and we never tattoo without a signed consent and a clear design conversation first.
Our style range spans realism, fine line minimalism, portrait work, mandala, traditional and cover-up tattoos — with each of our eight artists specialising in two or three styles rather than claiming to master everything. Most clients describe tattoo pain as a manageable scratching or vibrating sensation rather than sharp pain. It varies heavily by body placement — bony, thin-skin areas like ribs, hands and feet are more sensitive than fleshier areas like the outer arm or thigh.
Small tattoos start around ₹999, medium custom designs from ₹2,999, and large or full-sleeve work is quoted after a free consultation based on detail and number of sessions.
You must be 18 or older. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or legal guardian present with valid ID for consent.
Surface healing typically takes 2–3 weeks, while deeper skin layers can take up to 6 months to fully settle. Read our healing stages guide for a week-by-week breakdown.
Small tattoos take 30–90 minutes. Larger or highly detailed pieces are split across multiple 2–4 hour sessions for comfort and healing between visits.
Tattoos can be lightened or removed with laser removal, though full removal typically needs several sessions and doesn't guarantee a completely blank canvas — a cover-up is often a better option.
With stable, well-managed blood sugar and a doctor's clearance, most diabetics can get tattooed safely. We always ask about medical conditions during consultation.
Avoid heavy sweating, stretching or friction on the tattooed area for at least 1–2 weeks to protect fresh skin and avoid infection.
No — avoid pools, rivers and the sea for at least 3–4 weeks. Submerging a healing tattoo raises infection risk and can fade fresh ink.
Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your session (it thins blood and increases bleeding) and during the first days of healing.
